Associate Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Description

Assist in preparing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Perform manual testing to identify bugs and ensure software quality.

Document and report bugs clearly with detailed steps to reproduce.

Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues.

Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups as part of the QA process.

Help ensure product functionality, performance, and usability meet requirements.

Maintain test documentation and contribute to process improvements.

Qualification

BSCS/BSIT/BSSE

Required Skills

Strong understanding of software development and testing fundamentals.

Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Trello (a plus).

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic QA environment.
