We’re looking for a Mid/Senior Quality Engineer to help deliver high-quality software while contributing to the development and enhancement of our Quality Platform.
You will play an essential role within the quality engineering team, collaborating with fellow engineers and product teams to ensure the platform meets the highest standards of software quality.
- Quickly ramp up and understand our automation-first quality approach and product architecture
- Design and maintain reliable, scalable automated test scripts using Katalon Studio and other test automation tools.
- Write effective and clear test cases based on acceptance criteria from user stories and technical specs.
- Conduct exploratory testing (using Rapid Software Testing methodology) to uncover cases and critical bugs.
- Collaborate with the team to identify risks , regressions and test gaps in early development phases.
- Report and track bugs with concise, reproducible steps and actively follow up on resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives) and provide testing estimations.
- Maintain high test coverage across functional, API, accessibility, and performance tests.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and share best practices with other members of the QE community.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and Agile development.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools (preferably Katalon Studio, Selenium, or Playwright).
- Experience testing REST APIs, using tools like Postman or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in Accessibility Testing (manual or automated via tools like Axe, Lighthouse, etc.).
- Good working knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data.
- Strong exploratory testing skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration across teams, including product, dev, and design.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Nice to Have:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, K6).
- Familiarity with mobile testing tools like Appium.
- Experience with Selenium Grid or cloud test execution platforms.
- Basic knowledge of AWS fundamentals.
