This role 

Our product team is seeking a highly analytical and methodical QA Analyst who is passionate about building high-quality software. This is the perfect role for a skilled QA Analyst who loves automation and is driven to ensure our products, including our emerging AI-driven features, are robust, effective, and meet the highest quality standards.

You will be a key player in our software development lifecycle, taking pride in safeguarding our user experience. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects every day, so an ability to adapt and manage shifting priorities will be key to your success. This role will allow you to get hands-on with new and exciting projects, working both independently and within a collaborative team environment to help us achieve our mission.

Your key focus areas will be

  • Review and analyze product specifications and user stories to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
  • Perform thorough manual testing, including system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for new and existing features.
  • Test and validate new AI-powered features, assessing their functionality, accuracy, and performance.
  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to improve the efficiency and coverage of our regression testing suites.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in a clear, concise, and detailed manner using bug-tracking software like Jira.
  • Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot, replicate, and resolve issues identified during testing.
  • Verify bug fixes and conduct regression tests to ensure solutions are effective and have not introduced new issues.
  • Consistently refer to style and design guides when undertaking UI testing, documenting any inconsistencies as part of your feedback.
  • Proactively collaborate with support teams to communicate details of new features prior to release.

  • Proven experience in a software quality assurance role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g.Cypress, Playwright, Detox, Maestro).
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
  • Solid experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be self-directed on both learning and task management, with the ability to work effectively unsupervised.
  • Inherently demonstrate a high level of integrity and be trustworthy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is highly desirable.
