We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our growing quality assurance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to establish a strong foundation in test automation. You will play a critical part in ensuring our software meets high standards of quality, performance, and reliability through the design and execution of automated tests.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or similar frameworks.
Analyze product requirements to build effective test strategies and test plans.
Conduct regression testing, log defects, and verify bug fixes.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Maintain and update test cases and automation suites for web applications.
Write and execute basic SQL queries for backend data validation.
Support the continuous improvement of QA methodologies, tools, and practices.

Technical Skills Required:

Basic proficiency in a programming language such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
Hands-on experience or solid understanding of Playwright or other UI automation frameworks.
Strong grasp of software testing concepts including test design techniques and various test types.
Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git is a plus.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Open to fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience in QA/testing.

Nice to Have:

Experience in REST API testing.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of bug tracking tools such as JIRA.
