We are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Agile development environment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products throughout the development life-cycle. Your responsibilities will include participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, where you will champion quality as a top priority.

Your activities will include: 

  • Identify regression scenarios from functional test cases and automate them using defined frameworks and data strategies. 

  • Design, code, and maintain automated scripts, functions, and libraries to streamline testing processes and reduce manual tasks. 

  • Collaborate with development and database teams to troubleshoot complex technical or end-user scenarios. 

  • Generate suitable test data to validate critical requirements and business rules, exposing regressive defects. 

  • Test REST APIs with JSON/XML data using tools such as Swagger, Postman, and/or SoapUI. 

  • Plan, drive, and develop automation frameworks while building smoke and regression suites. 

  • Utilize exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to prepare release notes and end-user documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing. 

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably C#. 

  • Experience with CI tools such as Azure DevOps, Gitlab, or Github. 

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ceremonies, with demonstrable experience in Agile environments. 

  • Experience with front-end automation testing tools Playwright. 

  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git. 

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
