We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure high-quality product delivery in a dynamic, Agile development environment. The ideal candidate will have a blend of manual and automation testing skills, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, bug tracking, and collaboration in a Scrum team setup.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in all phases of the Scrum lifecycle, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with product management and development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Design and execute comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and product documentation based on business and technical specifications.
• Conduct functional, UI, and API testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Identify, report, and manage bugs effectively through defect tracking systems.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Ensure alignment with QA best practices, metrics, and standards.
• Collaborate with US-based teams and internal stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
• Take ownership of testing deliverables and become a subject matter expert (SME) for the assigned product.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 3–6 years of experience in software testing with strong exposure to both manual and automation testing.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proficient in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
• Expertise in functional testing, web-based application testing, and API testing (using tools like Postman or SOAP UI).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, and knowledge of frameworks like POM or Hybrid.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Good command of SQL, with the ability to write moderate to complex queries.
• Understanding of Agile methodology and Scrum ceremonies.
• QA certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Exposure to public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks.
• Ability to create and maintain automation scripts.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• A collaborative attitude and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
