Description
Optimiza is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software products. Your expertise in automation will help enhance our testing processes and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Develop test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites and ensure that tests are up-to-date with changes in applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve testing practices and code quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends in automation tools and techniques, and advocate for their adoption.
- Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices in automation testing.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
