The QA Automation Specialist with French is responsible for designing and implementing tests to ensure product quality and functionality. They collaborate with development teams to identify defects and validate that systems meet specified requirements. This role demands precision, autonomy, and strong analytical skills.

Requirements

What you’ll do:

• Work alongside the QA, Development, and Product teams to test and ensure the successful delivery of the software development roadmap, continuously improving customer-facing products.
• Maintain existing automated regression tests across all projects.
• Develop new browser and API automation tests in line with business objectives and specifications.
• Execute regression tests and report results to the Development, Product, and QA leads.
• Execute manual tests where required to meet acceptance criteria.
• Follow industry best practices, patterns, toolsets, and standards in both automated and manual testing.
• Promote early testing practices and continuous integration processes to enable faster QA delivery through automation.
• Work within the company’s processes and support broader company initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a test automation role using Selenium with Java (preferably).
• Familiarity with Jira, Postman, Xray, and SoapUI.
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTML and CSS, and ability to write SQL queries.
• Solid experience with QA methodologies.
• Proficiency with Docker.
• Fluency in both French and English.
• A solid understanding of how to ensure software reliability and correctness aligned with business needs.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Strong IT knowledge and the ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Good business and process analysis skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in testing principles.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ability to build strong relationships with product managers and stakeholders.
• A clear communicator who shows initiative and resourcefulness.
• Self-motivated and driven, with excellent time management skills.
• Well-organized and able to work calmly under pressure.
• A strong team player.
