Being responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of quality processes to ensure the performance, reliability, and security of delivered products. 

Intervening throughout the software development cycle to ensure comprehensive test coverage and strict adherence to quality standards. 

Main Tasks  

Requirement and Specification Analysis: 

  • Participating in meetings with technical teams and customers to understand functional and technical requirements. 

  • Analyzing product specifications to determine testing needs and necessary test coverage. 

Test Strategy Design and Implementation: 

  • Developing detailed test plans  

  • Writing functional, technical, and performance test cases. 

Test Execution: 

  • Performing manual and automated tests on software applications. 

  • Testing user interfaces, functionalities, performance, and system security. 

  • Ensuring rigorous tracking of defects and non-conformities identified during testing. 

Defect Management: 

Tracking incidents and anomalies. 

  • Collaborating closely with development teams to prioritize bug resolution. 

Quality Monitoring: 

  • Implementing tools and methodologies to measure product quality and performance. 

  • Providing regular reports on test results and defect status. 

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Proposing improvements to development and testing processes to optimize deliverable quality. 

  • Training and raising awareness among teams about best practices for testing and quality. 

Location: Reus or Barcelona

Requirements

Required Skills  

  • Fluency in Spanish, French or English is required,

  • In-depth knowledge of QA processes and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.). 

  • Expertise in testing tools (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.). 

  • Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)  

  • Knowledge of performance management tools. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Ability to quickly understand complex systems and identify risks and potential failures. 

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to precisely document test results. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to report test results and discuss issues with technical teams and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s +4/5 (Master’s degree level) 

  • Fields: Engineering, QA, Testing 

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years
