The Role
Join our cross-functional, autonomous team as a QA Engineer, championing application quality and user experience. We’re looking for a collaborative team player with strong user empathy and an attention to detail, ideally familiar with product-driven environments.
You'll be key in refining requirements, identifying gaps, and performing exploratory + structured testing (both UI and API), as well as building deep product knowledge. A core part of this role involves contributing to our test automation using Cypress, or demonstrating a strong aptitude and willingness to learn automation quickly.
Requirements
- Proven software QA experience.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong user empathy and ability to identify requirement gaps.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques (exploratory, functional, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with test automation (preferably using Cypress or similar frameworks such as Playwright).
- Understanding of the testing pyramid.
- Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus (especially relevant for Cypress).
- Experience testing systems involving Service Bus or similar message queuing technologies (e.g. RabbitMQ) is a plus.
- Experience working within Agile teams is a plus.
- Experience with issue tracking systems (preferably Azure DevOps) is a plus.
- Prior experience working within product-focused companies and/or independent, autonomous teams is a plus.
A degree in computer sciences or a related field is preferred, but any equivalent experience is just as valuable.
