What you’ll do
As a QA Engineer you will be part of an agile team that is designing and implementing Vodafone high volume and high impact web & mobile applications. We are continuously working on new features and ways to improve customer experience and interaction with our apps.
Key accountabilities:
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure adherence to design quality
- Design and implement automated tests for user and technical stories
- Debug tests and provide corrective actions to developers
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within the team
- Contribute to the maintenance and creation of test automation frameworks for REST API, Web and Mobile Testing
- Establish relationships with engineers to figure out their needs and feature requests
- Identify areas of QA improvement and implement processes around it.
Who you are
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field
- 2+ years of experience in software testing, with experience in Selenium, Appium and BDD Framework will be considered a plus
- Coding experience in at least one object-oriented programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java or JavaScript
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & time-management skills
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills (English is a must)
- Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Solid knowledge of basic principles of Software Quality Assurance
- Experience working with agile methodologies / in agile teams will be considered an asset
- Experience in Continuous Integration process, version control, defect tracking and test management tools
