Job Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our technology team. The role involves designing and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle in a fast-paced Agile environment. Develop, execute, and maintain both automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality and performance. Lead testing efforts including user acceptance testing and defect tracking, supporting development teams during all project phases.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using tools such as WebdriverIO or similar frameworks.
• Perform manual testing when necessary and maintain detailed test documentation.
• Plan and prioritize testing activities and schedules for automation and manual testing.
• Monitor test execution progress and report defects using tools like Jira.
• Maintain traceability matrices to map requirements to test cases.
• Support development, testing, UAT, and production environments by troubleshooting test issues.
• Lead and coordinate UAT testing activities as needed.
• Participate actively in Agile sprint ceremonies and processes.
• Provide on-call support for critical testing issues as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in manual test execution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience creating and executing automated test scripts.
• Proven expertise in performance testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and Selenium preferred.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum frameworks and using Jira and XRay tools.
• Experience generating automated test reporting is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
