QA Engineer

Description

QA Engineers are responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of software products.

They develop and execute test plans to identify software defects and ensure that products meet the specified requirements.

Day-to-Day Duties:

• Developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts

• Executing manual and automated tests

• Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects

• Collaborating with developers to resolve issues

• Performing regression testing

• Analyzing test results and providing feedback to the development team

• Participating in design and code reviews

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations

Requirements

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in testing tools and software (e.g, JIRA)

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• At least 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance
