The Team
We build and own the delivery of AssureID Sentinel and AcuFill desktop applications, which are part of GBG’s Documents and Biometrics product portfolio. We are a cross functional team who pride ourselves on our collaborative spirit. We value every team member’s expertise, and each member contributes to our collective success. Our daily work follows Agile methodology, placing a strong emphasis on automation.
The Role
You help safeguard the quality and reliability of our identity proofing applications which run on desktop devices and integrate seamlessly with third-party identity document scanner hardware.
Your influence is evident in your advocacy for rigorous testing practices and your ability to provide valuable insights from test results. Collaborating closely with engineers and product managers, you contribute to successful product releases and sustained quality.
What you will do
- Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our application components.
- Execute test cases manually and utilizing automated testing tools to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies in software products.
- Resolving technical issues and system failures, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results, ensuring traceability and facilitating effective communication within the team.
- Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, fostering skills development and collaboration within the QA domain.
- Develop an understanding of current solution implementations to make informed decisions and contribute effectively to ongoing initiatives.
- Explore emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance product quality and testing efficiency.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- A strong foundation in software testing methodologies, test planning, and test case design, with the ability to apply these principles effectively in testing activities.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as TestRail (or similar test management tools) for organizing and managing test cases, as well as other relevant tools for manual and automated testing.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues, demonstrating logical and analytical thinking to ensure timely problem resolution and minimize project impact.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices, with the ability to adapt QA practices within Agile frameworks and collaborate effectively within Agile teams.
- ·Clear communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to team members, stakeholders, and management, fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments, with a basic understanding of relevant tools and processes for software delivery pipelines.
- Willingness to learn and grow, with a desire to contribute to team development and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
