About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer to reinforce our current test team. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in both manual and automated testing, as well as proficiency in using the Cypress end-to-end testing framework and other relevant tools. The candidate will be responsible for promoting best practices throughout the testing process life-cycle and assisting the team in building a solid testing strategy.

  • Develop automated test solutions using Cypress

  • Perform methodical manual testing

  • Promote best practices throughout the testing process life-cycle

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the Product Owner to determine test cases and define user acceptance criteria based on business requirements

  • Plan, execute, and report testing activities against functional requirements

  • Support Product Owners with final acceptance testing

  • Conduct exploratory testing of new features – identifying, documenting, and raising issues

  • Oversee the complete issue resolution cycle

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate effectively with the product development team and other stakeholders, often working remotely, using pragmatic and friendly communication skills
  • Demonstrate self-motivation, organization, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives)
  • Monitor and analyse application logs to identify potential issues and trends
  • Perform regression testing and validate bug fixes
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test cases
  • Coordinate and execute performance, load, and stress testing to ensure application scalability and reliability
  • Actively participate in the release planning process and verify that releases are ready for deployment
