QA Tester

ValueSync is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our Client's quality assurance team. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure issues are resolved. You will work in a fast-paced environment and must possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure prompt resolutions.
• Perform regression testing to validate fixes and new features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in reviews of requirements and specifications to provide feedback on testability and potential issues.
• Stay current on industry best practices and new testing tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance testing.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies, such as manual and automated testing.
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or QTest is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
