About the Role

Otepolo Group is looking for a detail-driven Quality Assurance Associate – Web Content & UX to support multiple brands across our portfolio, including Geeks on Site. In this fully remote role, you’ll perform a mix of manual website QA testing and content quality assurance, helping us deliver seamless, professional digital experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, works independently, and has a keen eye for bugs, broken links, formatting errors, and inconsistencies in both UX and copy.

Key Responsibilities

Website QA (Manual Testing)

• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for layout, responsiveness, and functionality
• Test buttons, links, forms, menus, and features to ensure proper operation
• Validate implementation of basic on-page SEO (e.g. meta tags, alt text, headers)
• Report bugs, UI/UX issues, and inconsistencies using tools like Wrike, Jira, or Asana
• Check performance metrics (loading speed, responsiveness) using tools like GTmetrix or PageSpeed Insights
• Perform regression testing after fixes or new deployments

Copy & Content QA

• Review website content for grammar, spelling, clarity, and formatting
• Ensure adherence to brand-specific style guides and tone of voice
• Identify outdated, duplicated, or low-quality content
• Provide feedback or collaborate with content writers and project leads on corrections
• Validate on-page SEO elements like headers, keywords, and metadata

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in QA, content editing, or digital content review
• Experience with manual QA workflows and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Wrike, Asana)
• Strong English grammar and writing/editing skills
• Familiarity with basic SEO and web performance best practices
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines
• Must use own computer and internet connection
• Must be able to receive payments through Payoneer

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress
• Understanding of UX and accessibility (WCAG) principles
• Background in digital marketing or web content creation
