Description
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented VR Tester to join our team and ensure the highest level of quality in our Virtual Reality experiences. In this role, you will conduct thorough testing on immersive VR projects, identifying bugs and performance issues while ensuring the product meets the highest standards. You’ll collaborate closely with developers and project leads, contributing directly to the creation of innovative VR content.
Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on testing of VR applications across various platforms (e.g., Meta Quest, PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, etc.) to ensure functionality, usability, and stability.

Execute test cases, record defects, and report issues clearly to development teams using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

Test for performance, immersion, and user experience, focusing on factors like frame rates, input latency, and overall VR interaction quality.

Ensure compatibility across different hardware setups and VR systems, identifying platform-specific issues.

Participate in daily team stand-ups and provide clear updates on testing progress, bugs, and roadblocks.

Re-test bugs after fixes are implemented and verify that they have been resolved without introducing new issues.

Collaborate with the development team to review requirements and user stories, providing valuable feedback based on testing.

Document and maintain detailed test logs and results for continuous improvement and future reference.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in VR technology to ensure thorough testing coverage.
Requirements

1+ years experience as a QA Tester, with a focus on VR, gaming, or immersive technology.

Hands-on experience with one or more VR platforms (e.g., Meta Quest, PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality).

Strong understanding of basic VR hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques.

Experience using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify both functional and performance issues.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills to document bugs, test results, and provide clear feedback to the development team.

Comfortable with iterative testing and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
