We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Lead SDET to join our QA team. This individual will play a key role in building and maintaining robust automation frameworks, ensuring product quality, and mentoring team members. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software products in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient automated test frameworks and scripts across multiple applications and platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand application architecture and define comprehensive test strategies.
  • Perform rigorous regression, functional, and integration testing to ensure release readiness.
  • Identify, log, and track defects; conduct root cause analysis and work to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide mentorship to junior SDETs and help establish best practices within the team.
  • Participate in code reviews and offer actionable feedback to improve code quality and test coverage.
  • Continuously evolve testing tools, processes, and methodologies to improve test effectiveness and speed.
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in test automation and software quality assurance.
  • Serve as a hands-on individual contributor while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 10–20 years of experience in software quality engineering with a strong focus on automation testing.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Appium, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Proactive approach to challenges and the ability to provide spot solutions.
