Software Engineer -Quality Assurance

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with test management tools and a strong understanding of QA processes. Experience or knowledge in automation testing is a plus.

Requirements

Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices.
Write, execute, and maintain test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
Log and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Utilize test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr for planning and reporting.
Conduct functional, UI/UX, regression, and exploratory testing.
Work collaboratively in Agile teams, attending sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
Assist in or learn automation testing using tools like Selenium or Playwright.

Qualification

1+ year of manual testing experience in web and mobile applications.
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA, Azure DevOps).

Required Skills

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Automation testing experience or knowledge is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or similar).
Ability to work independently and within Agile teams
