Mercier Consultancy Europe is seeking a dedicated Tribe Test Engineer to join our dynamic team! As a Tribe Test Engineer, you will work collaboratively within agile teams to develop and execute test strategies, conduct thorough testing, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and maintain automated and manual test cases to ensure software quality across features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to define and understand testing requirements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Analyze test results and report any defects and issues, ensuring clear communication with the development team.
- Continuously improve testing processes by providing insight and recommendations for best practices.
- Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks and tools.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools and technologies to enhance our testing capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar QA role.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
- Experience in both automated and manual testing, with proficiency in testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and participation in agile environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Relevant certifications in testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
